“To mean something to someone”: sport-for-development as a lever for social inclusion
A study on sport-for-development as a lever for social inclusion carried out by Veken, Lauwerier and Willems was conducted by using a non-profit SFD organization in Belgium using document analysis, participatory observations, interviews, and a focus group to help identify essential mechanisms through which SFD can promote its participants’ health and wellbeing.
