Notts County Foundation: A Shining Future

Notts County Foundation: A Shining Future

Twelve months ago, Notts County initiated an extensive consultation exercise with beneficiaries and stakeholders. The consultation was wide-ranging and the feedback has directly impacted the strategic plans outlined in this document. The consultation allowed the foundation to hear that people were not fully aware of both the breadth of work that it undertakes within the community, nor its full impact. This encouraged Notts County Foundation to reflect on their ‘brand’ and the message it sends; to consider raising the independent charitable profile and to draw further attention to the excellent work taking place across the City and the County, about which the wider public is unaware. The foundation firmly believes that the time is now right for a rebrand in order to successfully communicate the outstanding work which it delivers through the S.H.I.N.E. positive outcomes: Sport, Health, Inclusion, NCS, Education and the running of Portland Leisure centre. Find more information about the rebrand, the new strategic focus and some key messages that will help guide the foundation’s work in the future in this report.
