LFP 2018 CSR Report

LFP 2018 CSR Report

The LFP (Ligue de Football Professionnel) released their second edition of “Playing as a team”, a report of societal and environmental actions, which confirms the commitment of the French clubs for sustainability.

Presented as part of the LFP General Assembly, this brochure aims to share a few illustrations from among the thousands of actions undertaken by the French professional football as an inspiration to all clubs as well as to all actors beyond the football industry. This second edition has been expanded to include a new feature for the 2017/2018 season, namely a chapter on environmental matters, a key component of sustainability.

This season again, more than 3,000 projects were initiated by the clubs, reaching more than one million people, in eight key areas:

  • support for amateur football,
  • education and citizenship,
  • integration and social link actions,
  • support for charities,
  • the development of women’s practice,
  • the accessibility of the practice and the show to people with disabilities,
  • cultural support,
  • environmental protection.

Some fifty inspiring initiatives by professional clubs and the LFP are highlighted in this report on all these themes.
