Grounds for Benefit: Developing and protecting community benefit in football stadia
The report explores five different examples of protecting community and supporter interests in football stadia.
The research was commissioned by Supporters Direct and Wrenbridge and launched at an event in Westminster in February 2013 attended by over 50 MPs (http://www.supporters-direct.org/?event=sd-parliament-event).
The case studies illustrate models including supporter ownership of key assets, urban regeneration joint ventures, local authority partnership, supporters golden shares and supporter owned club asset locks.
