Football Club Social Alliance – Annual Report 2016

The report from the Football Clubs Social Alliance, strategic partner of EFDN, provides updates with regards to the general status and impact of the organisations programmes. 2016 was another successful project year for the Football Club Social Alliance. Following the completion of the Young Coach Education Programme in Colombia, focus turned to the topic of refugees and internally displaced persons in Jordan and Ukraine. It can be read throughout the report, from first-hand accounts of the Young Coaches, how much the education programme has impacted their lives.

Additionally, in 2016, their disability football programme reached a significant milestone with the Special Youth Camp celebrating its 10th anniversary. As the disability football programme continues to go from strength to strength, the Alliance loosk forward to seeing what the next decade will bring.
