European Week of Sport Communications Campaign – #BeActive

European Week of Sport Communications Campaign – #BeActive

This presentation of the European Week of Sport communications campaign, #BeActive, provides information and guidance on tools and materials that can freely be used by national coordinators, partners and event organisers to help promote their own initiatives – to the public, media and other target audiences around Europe.

By presenting their communications strategy to promote the European Week of Sport, #BeActive tries to inspire people and organisations, and show how important it is to have a effective communication plan. Indeed, a good communication plan aims at:

  • improving communication through the implementation of community actions which are more visible and closer to citizens in order to increase general awareness
  • guaranteeing more transparency
  • “closing the gap” between the organisations, the participants and the citizens
