Best Practices Handbook
The European Walking Football League (EFDN) project is a pioneering initiative aimed at enhancing the lives of individuals aged 50 and above through health-promoting physical activities and fostering social inclusion within European communities. The project is grounded in the recognition of the pivotal role physical activity plays in maintaining both physical and mental fitness, addressing issues like obesity, and preventing various health-related conditions. Social interaction is equally vital, and the EFDN project is dedicated to creating an inclusive environment where individuals aged 50 and above are encouraged to participate in sports activities that significantly enhance their overall well-being.
