Blåtimen – Believing in the role model effect

Blåtimen” is a community programme that focuses on the power of Strømsgodset IF to act as a role model. The Norwegian club is aware of the strength and responsibility, which Strømsgodset IF holds. Therefore, A-team players and coaches of the club visit schools, kindergartens, hospitals, primary schools, high schools, universities, associations and clubs on a regular basis.

The programme “Blåtimen” aims at inspiring people by creating unique encounters with role models. Strømsgodset IF’s programme “Blåtimen” is far-reaching. Each year, together with the A-team players, more than 150 visits are paid. During the sessions and visits different social topics are being addressed. Among others, Strømsgodset IF emphasises bullying, racism, integration, self-esteem and addictions.
