Mainz 05 hilft e. V. is a separated registered organisation, which aims at supporting people in need. The charity-club was founded in 2010. Since its foundation in 2010 until the end of 2016 “Mainz 05 hilft e. V.” received more than one million euros derived from donations. In accordance with the articles of the association, the club donated about one million euros to people in need and social organisations in Mainz or in a range of about 100 km.
