Kumpels for Kids- Schalke 04
This new initiative of Schalke 04 supports children and young adults. It focuses on highlighting the social commitment of children and young adults. The special feature of the initiative is that not only the individual person is being supported through the programme, but the entire team.
In the season of 2014/2015, twelve different community programmes were supported by “Schalke hilft!”, each with a total of 5000 Euro. The foundation encourages everyone to submit his or her programmes to apply for the funding.
The programmes need to be focusing on children and adults and need to be in line with the mission statement of Schalke 04, to support socially disadvantaged people.
