Jobtour 2016 & 2017 – Randers FC
Jobtour 2016 & Jobtour 2017 are two cycling projects that Randers FC successfully delivered in the respective years. The Jobtour initiative is targeted at young people from 20 to 29 years, who had a traumatic childhood and adolescence and / or have been diagnosed with ADHD, autism or similar.
All participants of the programme shared the characteristic that they were distant from the educational environment and the labour market before entering the programme.
Today, all the participants (13 in 2016 and 9 in 2017) are either in training, in business practice or in regular job thanks to the challenge they defeated; Namely to cycle 1,500 km. from Randers to southern France to eventually climb the legendary Tour de France mountain Alpe d’Huez – all within a period of two weeks!
