Istanbul Başakşehir FK – Professional Football Management Certificate Programme
IBFK’s Professional Football Management Certificate Programme is one-of-a-kind education in Turkey that the football club owns with the mission to educate the next generation of football leaders. What makes this programme unique is that the classes are delivered by the club’s own human resources, sub-branched to everyone’s expertise areas such as commercial, communication, data, academy, etc.
The purpose of the programme is to find and educate the next generation of leaders in football and sports by also opening them to massive networking opportunities.
They contribute to Turkish football and all disciplines of sport with qualified project managers helping in a pool of different projects which are required to complete the course. This certificated programme consists of 5 modules; 4 of them are online and the last module is at the stadium with a graduation ceremony.
Application for this annual education is open to everyone who plans a career in football, sports or works already in the domain of football and sports and seeks an upgrade of his expertise. The programme is free but with limited spots. A scientific panel in the club makes an evaluation among all applications and picks a diverse group of 30 to 35 people depending on several criteria which are publicly announced during applications.
İstanbul Başakşehir FK now has 60 alumni from different places in the world like the United States, the Netherlands, Germany etc alongside Turkey.
