Inter Campus Uganda
Inter Campus Uganda was established in 2008 with the help of local CUAMM (Doctors with Africa) hospitals in order to raise literacy levels and increase access to healthcare for marginalised children. The project is based in the Nagallama and Aber schools and also includes the sporting and educational training of local instructors.
Through sport, children in the surrounding rural areas are brought closer to school and health infrastructure. This allows for better monitoring and thus treatment for and protection from common illnesses connected to contaminated water, which is the principal cause of infant mortality in the country.
