Working with schools to improve the health and well-being of pupils.
The Football Challenge Programme is designed to encourage primary two and three children to become more active with an interest in the game. Hibernian Community organise and deliver curriculum football followed by unique football festivals to celebrate the programme with other schools.
In 2018, over 1,000 Primary 2 / 3 boys and girls participated in this programme and celebrated with “on the pitch” festivals at Easter Road Stadium, which also included a Historical tour of the stadium.
All pupils received information on becoming involved in a team environment out of school hours to continue their football.
