Health Awareness Match Days – Leyton Orient Trust
Each season, Leyton Orient Trust harness the power of the football club to deliver a number of key health messages to fans and the local community. Over the past few seasons they have engaged with over 40,000 people.
During the 2016-17 season, Leyton Orient had eight match day health messaging events taking place:
- Know your numbers and Cardio Vascular Disease – Saturday 17th September (vs Yeovil)
- Mental Health Awareness Week – Saturday October 8th (vs Portsmouth)
- Smoking Cessation – Saturday October 15th (vs Luton)
- Cancer Research and Breast Cancer – Saturday October 29th (vs Crewe)
- White Ribbon – Saturday November 19th (vs Blackpool)
- One You – Saturday January 21st (vs Morecambe)
- HIV & Sexual Health – Saturday March 11th (vs Grimsby)
- Know the Score Bowel Cancer – Saturday April 1st (vs Wycombe Wanderers)
