Because you deserve it- Schalke 04
“Because you deserve it” is an initiative, founded by Schalke 04’s lead sponsor Gazprom. Since 2012, community programmes and people who show a unique social and sustainable commitment are being honoured.
“Schalke hilft!” cooperates since the season 2014/2015 with Gazprom in order to broaden the reach of the imitative and to provide even more support.
In 2013, the imitative “Because you deserve it” had the capacity to honour 100 projects that proved to have a particularly strong influence on the community, whether it is in their neighbourhood, in an institution or club.
To show even more appreciation for the community work that is being done, “Schalke hilft!” distributes free tickets for each match of the club.
