Ajax – Life Skills & Clinics
Elementary schools in Amsterdam’s disadvantaged neighborhoods will receive a special Ajax day, offered by the Ajax Foundation in cooperation with the community.
Students from levels 5 to 8 (grade 3 to 6) will follow classes about nutrition, dealing with money and media knowledge during school hours. Volunteers from social partner ABN AMRO will teach these classes and use Ajax players as examples. The program has been developed with main sponsor ZIGGO, ABN AMRO and De Toekomst College. The day ends with a football clinic, during which Ajax’s norms and values are discussed.
