Ajax Foundation – VUmc Kinderstad
Since 1998, the Ajax Foundation has been partnering with the Children’s Clinic at the VUmc hospital.
In the special player’s home in the VUmc hospital, kids can temporarily forget about their illness. There, they can play football, pool or follow Ajax trainings via a webcam. The young patients can also send mail to their favourite Ajacied.
Each player has his own mail box. In addition to the annual visit from Ajax 1’s selection, the Foundation also organizes activities for the young patients in cooperation with the Ajax Women, the eSports players, and ambassador John Heitinga. Moreover, patients are regularly invited to attend a match in the ArenA.
