100% Werder WorldWide

csm_LogoWerderWorldWide_4a4510fba7_csm_LogoWerderWorldWide_39aac2265f_542a4a5087The project “100% Werder WorldWide” was created in 2009 as an extension of the “100 schools – 100 clubs” project. In addition to the existing partnerships with schools and associations between Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and the Dutch border, as well as between the North Sea coast and Westphalia, the association is also active for foreign institutions.

In the middle of February 2009 the project “100% Werder WorldWide.” was founded. At a public press conference, Wynton Rufer has been introduced as Patron of the project.

The offers from Werder to the foreign partners are versatile. They range from the support of sports material to the support of visits to local partnerships and associations by free tickets or guided Stadium tours. Also, it is possible that Werder participates in projects for the benefit of foreign partners. Furthermore, training units for the training of foreign teachers and trainers, as well as the placement of internships, are conceivable.

A great and important partner of the project “100% Werder WorldWide” is the Scort Foundation.

As an operational Foundation, the Scort Foundation is networking European professional football clubs in its “The Football Club Social Alliance” partnership programme and is implementing social football training programmes for disadvantaged children, young people and young adults around the world.
