Bram Langelaar and Kevin Janssen from Vitesse Betrokken went to Bulgaria in preperation of the FAN Cup. This is a Erasmus+ programme that will be delivered this september. EFDN put Vitesse in touch with the coordinator of the programme, ASSOCIATION SPORT IN THE FREE TIME (ASFT).
The FAN CUP aims to increase knowledge and awareness regarding the positive role of sports and health enhancing physical activity for personal wellbeing and health by presenting the unique role and opportunities which football has to offer. Sport is not always about championships, crowds of fans, solid infrastructure, equipment and training. The FAN CUP project will show that MOVEMENT / SPORTS can be fun, attractive, cheap and can be practiced in both rich urban and poor peripheral areas.
