Vitesse GOALS now also launched in Veenendaal
For the second time in the still young existence of Vitesse GOALS, the project of the Vitesse Betrokken foundation will be active outside the borders of the municipality of Arnhem. Indeed, after the autumn holidays, the programme will start at Mozaïek Petenbos primary school and SBO De Windroos in Veenendaal. Vitesse GOALS focuses on raising awareness of the importance of a healthy lifestyle among children.
In the Veenendaal region, Vitesse GOALS is made possible thanks to the organisation HatchTech. Out of a desire to mean something socially for Veenendaal, the incubator manufacturer has ensured that the project can go ahead at the two schools mentioned above. The Vitesse GOALS package includes a Vitesse jersey for all children, school fruit from a collaboration with Christiaan van Ravenswaaij (S.C. van Ravenswaaij B.V.) and a visit by the children to a Vitesse match.
On Thursday 20 October, a launch day was organised at the Mosaic Petenbos elementary school. At this launch, all participating classes were given a Vitesse GOALS sports lesson to get acquainted with the project. Following the launch day, there was an acquaintance between all participating parties of the project and the covenant was signed by Vitesse Involved, HatchTech, SBO De Windroos, Mozaïek Petenbos bassischool and Sportservice Veenendaal. A presentation was also given by Kevin Janssen, CSR Manager of Vitesse Involved.
