Ukrainian Teenagers Celebrate Success at Feyenoord’s Zuidblinkers Project
Saturday, July 29, a group of Ukrainian teenagers completed the MDT Zuidblinkers project organised by Feyenoord Rotterdam‘s foundation, #KrachtvanFeyenoord.
Zuidblinkers is designed for young people aged 12 to 30, aiming to maximize their potential with Feyenoord. Through sports and in a Feyenoord environment, they discover their talents and learn to handle challenges. The program emphasizes teamwork, goal-setting, job applications, budgeting, and positive communication workshops. Additionally, they get a glimpse of Feyenoord’s social activities behind the scenes.
Over the past month, they have spent time in and around De Kuip looking for their own talents and weaknesses and how to deal with them. This project was festively concluded with a graduation ceremony in De Kuip!
The participants had lunch together with their parents, followed by the graduation ceremony at De Kuip. Both parents and participants were beaming with pride. When the participants were asked after the ceremony whether they had enjoyed their time at Zuidblinkers, there was little doubt. The answer was loud and clear: ‘YES, IT WAS VERY FUN!’
