Toulouse FC organises educational workshops for players
As part of the “Open Football Club” educational programme, young people from the training centre took part in several workshops led by the educational team and the TFC Foundation.
Open Football Club is a programme aimed at supporting professional football clubs in the implementation of social and cultural actions with young players in training (between 13 and 19 years old).
In March, the young people were able to participate in several workshops:
- 8 March: “International Women’s Rights Day”: an exhibition of panels, viewing of videos and debate on the place of women in society and on violence against women.
- 11 March: “Gender equality in sport”: a temporary exhibition of current figures and discussion with young people.
- 17 March: Participation in the “Show Racism the Red Card Europe” campaign.
- 25 March: Intervention by former top-level sportsmen: in partnership with ‘Sport Incub’ – a Toulouse-based association and partner of the Foundation in the 11+1 programme in April – Faïza Chaban and Joël N’Gako spoke to the young people about their careers in top-level football. A privileged moment rich in interaction.
