Tottenham Hotspur supports Football People Action Weeks
At the game on 18th of October against Real Madrid, Tottenham Hotspur supported Fare network’s Football People Action Weeks as part of its ongoing commitment to promoting equality and inclusion.
Taking place from 5-19 October, the Football People Action Weeks aim to tackle discrimination, promote social inclusion and unite people across Europe through football.
Members of the Club’s official LGBT supporters group, Proud Lilywhites, visited Hotspur Way to join players in a photo to help raise awareness of the campaign.
The Club has a zero-tolerance policy to all types of discrimination and works closely with Proud Lilywhites to combat issues relating to homophobia within the game and create a safe and inclusive environment for lesbian gay, bisexual and transgender fans.
Last season, more than 100,000 supporters were involved in the Football People Action Weeks, delivering over 2,000 events during the campaign.
