Together for Enjoyment- IF Elfsborg starts new programme
On 30th of August, IF Elfsborg launches their new Community Programme “Together for Enjoyment”.
The programme is a cooperation between IF Elfsborg, Borås City and Erikshjälp and gives disabled children and young people the opportunity to participate in football related activities.
“The programme does not focuse on sportive performance, instead, it wants to give the participating children and young people possibilities to interact and make friendships. We have the aim of making everyone feel welcome, this feels great”, says Mathias Strinäs, one of the two project coaches.
Together with Pontus Fahlström, once a week, he will be present at Ryda Sports Field to give the participating children and young people football training sessions.
“I have always been around people with a disability, since my mom has worked as a caregiver. They spread so much joy, never see any problems, but are always positive and happy. I really look forward to this programme”, says Mathias.
This week, many preparations for the start of the programme are taking place. Among others, Pontus Fahlström is visiting schools and organisations to inform about Together for Enjoyment.
