Creating Special Memories With Tickets For Good – Rangers Charity Foundation
The Rangers Charity Tickets for Good scheme continues to make someone’s day thanks to the generosity of fans who purchase a ticket for someone in need. Just read the feedback below from one of the beneficiary charities, the Mainstay Trust, to see what an amazing difference the donation of a match ticket for just £5 can make!
Gavin, who attended with the Mainstay Trust commented, “I had a brilliant time at the game, my seats were the best and the players were really nice and waved over at me.
“I also got a handshake from Broxi Bear, which I couldn’t wait to tell my family about. Rangers are the best, I love all the players. Thank you very much.”
Mary also loved the experience and was delighted to finally attend Ibrox: “I loved my evening at the game. I have been a Rangers fan all my life but never had the opportunity to attend a live game. WOW! What an experience!
“It was great being part of the crowd cheering on my team. When I found out Rangers provided the tickets I almost cried and I am very grateful. Thank you so very much”.
Andrea, Employment and Activities Coordinator at Mainstay Trust, explained just how much the support of the Foundation, and the generosity of fans who purchase Tickets for Good, mean to service users and their families: “From a staff point of view I would like to reiterate my appreciation and gratitude to the team at Rangers for everything you have done and continue to do for Mainstay service users.
“You have gone above and beyond throughout the year with tours of the Stadium and have always been supportive of any request we have asked of you – which really does help us as an organisation to support our service users.
The Mainstay Trust, which offers support services to people with a learning or physical disability living in Glasgow, is just one of the charities which has benefitted from the Tickets For Good scheme this season.
Tickets for Good allows Rangers supporters to buy match tickets to be donated to people deserving of a special day out such as veterans, carers and those from community groups and other good causes.

The Club has made 2,000 tickets available for home league matches during 2017/18 and has partnered with the Rangers Charity Foundation to ensure tickets are given for free to recipients highlighted by local organisations.
“The tickets for the game really were a dream come true. The support staff present commented on how much they enjoyed seeing the service users so excited and their faces lighting up when they got into the stadium. Mainstay as a whole would love to thank Rangers for their ongoing support, kindness and generosity.”
Tickets are available for supporters to buy priced just £5. They can be bought using the link below or in person at the Rangers Ticket Office. When buying a ticket you can choose who you would like the ticket to go to.
Every penny from the sale of the 2,000 tickets will be given to the Foundation, meaning we could receive up to £10,000 to boost our work in the local community and to help vulnerable children around the world via its special partnership with Unicef.
