Third edition of “NAC Telt” lifestyle programme
After two successful editions in the past season, NAC Telt will start its third route on September 19, an initiative by NAC Breda. With the program the participants come into contact with different facets within health. Thus, the emphasis is not only on physical health, but also on mental health. The use of food is also included in the process.
NAC Telt is a twelve-week lifestyle programme in which the importance of a healthy lifestyle is paramount. The kick-off of the programme is a measurement moment. This is the baseline measurement that makes clear what the physical and mental condition is. At the end of the twelve weeks another measurement is taken to see what progress has been made in the past weeks.
In the programme, supporters will work out physically twice a week in the Rat Verlegh Stadium. Exercises are created in combination with the surroundings, such as the stands, the moat and the artificial turf strip around the grass. In addition, every three weeks the participants are given a workshop on nutrition, exercise, relaxation and development.
Besides the physical moments, the participants are triggered by (individual) day and/or week challenges. Because it is an intensive twelve-week programme, the supporter is made aware of his or her own lifestyle almost every day, which stimulates changes in behaviour. Ultimately, the individual is central and the supporters must do it themselves, but NAC Telts offers the opportunities to get started in a unique environment as well as the know-how.
