THE WEE JAMBO JAUNT TO HELP REDUCE CHILD POVERTY
With just two months before the Virtual Kiltwalk Weekend, Big Hearts announced The Wee Jambo Jaunt – a Hearts themed scavenger hunt designed for Big Hearts’ registered Kiltwalkers and their families. Supporters can complete it wherever they are with a chance to win some exciting prizes throughout the weekend.
On 23-25 April, supporters are encouraged to complete a few miles at a place of their choice whilst raising funds for a charity close to their heart.
Big Hearts intends to make the experience special for all our charity supporters, with a unique finisher’s medal, a complementary Big Hearts’ top to wear on the day and safe opportunities to catch up with Hearts VIPs and other participants during the event!
This year’s Kiltwalk donations will go towards their child poverty programme. Big Hearts ‘School’s Out’ project was created three years ago to offer local children free meals during the school holidays. During the pandemic, we’ve extended the project to run over the 5-months of school closure and beyond. With over 1,500 relief parcels delivered so far, School’s Out has become a lifeline for many families in poverty living in the surroundings of Tynecastle Park.
There’s no better opportunity than the Kiltwalk to show your support to the Club’s charity. Why? Because for every £1 raised by our supporters, Big Hearts will receive an extra 50% thanks to Sir Tom Hunter and The Hunter Foundation!
