The Swedish Professional Football Leagues has joined EFDN

The Swedish Professional Football Leagues have officially joined the network. We are looking forward to working with the organisation representing the 32 clubs in the top two divisions of the Swedish Football League System.

The Swedish Professional Football Leagues is an organisation founded in 1928 and it represents the 32 clubs in the top two divisions of the Swedish Football League System, with the aim to not only create development at club level but also promote social inclusion and equality.

The Swedish Professional Football Leagues engage in society because they believe that football contributes to a better society and makes a real difference in the local area of the clubs. The organisation wants to promote clubs’ engagement and show the social benefits of football. A solid social engagement creates new possibilities for partner networking and strengthens clubs and the perception of clubs and leagues. To add to this theme, Beatrice Clarke, CSR & Sustainability Manager at Swedish Professional Football Leagues said, “When 32 teams and two national leagues work together in a society, it will not be possible to avoid what social force football is.”

We can’t wait to meet our member clubs from the Swedish Professional Football Leagues and the League representatives at the 14th EFDN #Morethanfootball Conference in Breda, The Netherlands on the 24th and 25th March. To join us, register for the 14th EFDN Conference here.
