The Parc des Princes welcomes 400 children
Our member Paris Saint-Germain Foundation organised a big day dedicated to the children who benefit from its programmes.
400 children from various programmes of the Paris Saint-Germain Foundation such as the Ecole Rouge et Bleu (Red and Blue School), the Allez les Femmes (Go Women) programme which supports women and children who are victims of violence, or the special football team composed of young people from Medical Educational Institutes, but also children from the partner association Emmaüs Solidarité were able to participate in this exceptional day in the mythical stadium of the Red and Blue.
After a visit of the Parc des Princes, the children took part in numerous sports, play and cultural workshops set up by the educators of the Paris Saint-Germain Foundation in the middle of the Parc des Princes pitch. Former players Jessica Houara, Sabrina Delannoy, Laurent Fournier, Luis Fernandez, Omar Da Fonseca, Fabrice Pancrate and Eric Rabesandratana led the workshops.
The children were surprised to receive a special visit from the artists Wejdene and Fianso, emblematic figures of the new generation, who came to share a moment of exchange and conviviality with them.
Candice Prévost, Head of Operations for the Paris Saint-Germain Foundation, said: “We are very proud to be able to offer an event like this to children despite the health crisis, and to have been able to count on our former players to offer them moments of joy and sharing. This day at the Parc des Princes is a special event for sports and educational actions carried out with these children throughout the year by the Foundation and its partners. It is also an opportunity for us to thank them for their daily commitment. “
Through its Foundation, Paris Saint-Germain puts its know-how at the service of the development of young people in difficult situations. Each year, more than 16,000 children benefit from its programmes.
