The children of the PSG Foundation and the endowment fund gathered at the Parc des Princes

On the occasion of the traditional children’s day of the Foundation and the Endowment Fund, Paris Saint-Germain has organised a public training session for its first team at the Parc des Princes more than 6,000 children. A moment of joy and enthusiasm, which has become a ritual for the beneficiaries of the Foundation and the Endowment Fund.

The Foundation’s Children’s Day is a magical moment every season. This is an opportunity for us, the players, to give back to these children who need it so much, all the support and affection they show us throughout the year. It’s heartbreaking not to be able to participate in training this year but I will be there to enjoy this galvanizing atmosphere.

Presnel Kimpembe, Patron of the Foundation

For the 20th edition of Children’s Day, the Foundation and the Endowment Fund have programmed numerous activities to the rhythm of dance and music. Hip hop and freestyle dance activities, produced by the Start 2 Step association, are offered to the 4,000 beneficiary children and nearly 2,000 children enrolled in the Junior Club and the PSG Academy program. At the same time, Paris Saint-Germain presenter Ambre Godillon hosts a special PSG TV program broadcast on the stadium screens with interviews with educators and videos on the actions of the Foundation and the Endowment Fund.

All the children present had taken their places in the stands to welcome and encourage their Paris Saint-Germain heroes, in a festive atmosphere. The players took advantage of this support to prepare in the best conditions for the match against Strasbourg, which could be decisive in obtaining a historic eleventh title. At the end of the training, sick children from the Necker Hospital will receive a special visit from the players in the Gallery.

The work of the Foundation and the Paris Saint-Germain Endowment Fund are at the heart of the Club’s project. This special day is an illustration of this. It is a way for the Club to show its support for the community of its supporters by offering an unforgettable moment to thousands of children. We continue our civic mission to support the youth who need it most.”

Fabien Allègre, Deputy Director of the Foundation and Vice-President of the Endowment Fund

Through its Foundation and its Endowment Fund, Paris Saint-Germain puts its know-how at the service of the inclusion, education and development of young people in difficulty. Each year, more than 16,000 young people benefit from their programs.
