Successful first edition of Winterchills Breda
The past two weeks, Breda was dominated by Winterchills. Various activities were organised both online and physically in order to, despite corona, still offer something for the Breda youngsters. Winterchills Breda is an initiative of Breda Active, City of Breda, EFDN member NAC Breda, Mcon Esports, Breda University, Kick Breda and Nieuwe Veste. From 21 to 23 December a large online FIFA 21 tournament was played with no less than 250 participants! From 28 to 30 December an online Rocket League tournament was played with 243 participants. The winners of these tournaments received an autographed match shirt and signed NAC balls.
Activities
In addition, several physical activities have been during Christmas vacations. The NAC Fundagen were part of this. On Wednesday, December 23rd the Cruijff Court Kesteren was full of activities in which the Breda youth could actively participate. More than 50 youngsters played football with Breda Active and NAC Breda, kickboxed with the Big Brothers and Sisters of Kick Breda and made TikTok dances with Nieuwe Veste. A similar programme was organised on Wednesday, December 30th at Cruijff Court Hamdijk, where even more young people came to play. In short, the Breda youngsters did not have to get bored this Christmas vacation!
