Special football afternoon in De Adelaarshorst
During the match of the first team of Go Ahead Eagles against FC Utrecht in the Galgenwaard, in De Adelaarshorst a round of the Special Eredivisie was taking place.
The stadium of Go Ahead Eagles was the setting for the 8th round of the Special Eredivisie where, in view of the necessary supporters on the main stand, the Special Eredivisie team of Go Ahead Eagles played several matches against other clubs.
The sun-drenched afternoon in De Adelaarshorst resulted in a sporty battle between all teams, that played together and had fun as ‘real’ professional teams. For some of the players from the visiting teams it was even their first time playing in a stadium.
This round of the Special Eredivisie in Deventer turned out to be a great success. Many goals were scored and the football players had a great time during the whole day.
An additional special mention goes to the fans of Go Ahead Eagle, as they won the Fan Award for best match attendance in the Eredivisie for the second season in a row.
