Special Euro Championship
Mifalot was honored to take part for the second time in this positive and important tournament.
Various football clubs around Europe work with communities with special needs sent representatives; Werder Bremen, Chelsea, Mainz, Barcelona and Mifalot- representing Hapoel Tel Aviv FC! Our team, the youth from Amlanei Nazareth School, played incredibly well and with great sportsmanship. In addition, they took second place in their category and had an amazing experience they will treasure for the rest of their lives!
Walid Murad, the team’s coach volunteered with Mifalot through the civil service program. During the program, he was discovered as a very determined and smart person, one who was very forward-thinking. After the program, he started working at Mifalot, with one group of special needs. Now, he is a trainer of four groups! He was very excited for the trip, especially since it was his first time abroad. He prepared his team exceptionally well. He, along with the boys on his team, did an exceptional job!
