New Stop, Quit & Be Fit Sessions organized by Aberdeen FC Community Trust

Aberdeen FC Community Trust is delighted to welcome back the smoking cessation and physical activity programme Stop, Quit and Be Fit!

The free 12-week rolling programme at Pittodrie Stadium started on Monday 9th January, 6.30pm-8pm for males and Tuesday 10th, 6.30pm-8pm January for females who are aged 18+ that currently smoke. Individuals are welcome to join at any stage during the programme. Over the 12-week period participants will receive different techniques on how to stop smoking, as well as taking part in different physical activities delivered by Aberdenn FC Community Trust.

Moreover, participants will get a sneak-peak behind the scenes at Pittodrie!

After the last block of stop smoking sessions a fantastic 60% of the group managed to give up the habit and one participant managed to lose a staggering 2.5 stone in weight through the physical activity sessions and now “feels better than ever”.
