SL Benfica Community Champions League carries on at home

COVID-19 does not stop the kids who participate in SL Benfica’s Community Champions League, as they are still training at home during the lockdown.

The Community Champions League is an EFDN project that consists of a social street football competition organised locally in different European countries, where the participating teams can win more points through Fair-Play, Fair Support and Volunteering in community activities than by just winning their street football matches.

Due to COVID-19, the children who take part in the project cannot meet in person to train for the League, but they keep in contact and motivate each other with videos like the one below.
