EFDN and its project partners launch the Show Racism the Red Card programme at Ibrox, Glasgow on the 24th of October. Interested clubs, leagues and FAs can register for the event until the 19th of October.
EFDN meets with Brentford FC, Chelsea FC, Club Brugge, Ferencvárosi TC, Inter Milan, Rangers Charity Foundation, SL Benfica, Werder Bremen and Show Racism the Red Card the Netherlands already one day earlier for the 2nd project meeting. The attendees discuss the Show Racism the Red Card methodology, finance and reporting. The new programme includes not only awareness campaigns in stadiums and in grassroots clubs but also the education of young people and adults in schools, workplaces and at events held in football stadiums. The aim of the programme is to fight racism and discrimination in society by using the power and outreach of football.
At the launch on the 24th of October, there will be presentations by EFDN, partners of EFDN and Show Racism the Red Card England. The event will see the launch of a video including players and other staff from the collaborating partners. Registration for the campaign launch is open until the 19th of October.
