Shakhtar footballers visited towns near the contact line in Donetsk Oblast

Maksym Malyshev and David Khocholava went to visit participants of the Come On, Let’s Play! project in Krasnohorivka, Mar’inka and Avdiivka. In total, the footballers spent 14 hours on the trip and covered about 600 kilometres.

Gifts from Shakhtar

The Come On, Let’s Play! project in the towns near the contact line is implemented with the support of the UEFA Foundation for Children. These Shakhtar players have visited the project participants in Krasnohorivka, Mar’inka and Avdiivka for the first time, so their arrival aroused lively emotions and gave each child additional motivation to play football.

The ‘Miners’ played football with the children. The team of David Khocholava won in Krasnohorivka, that of Maksym Malyshev won in Mar’inka. In Avdiivka, the players visited a 9-year-old Come On, Let’s Play! participant Mykyta. In every town, Maksym and David gave FC Shakhtar gifts to kids.

Local tournaments have been held in every location this autumn, with the kids having received prizes from Shakhtar Social and the UEFA Foundation for Children.
