RKC Waalwijk launches its Team 12
Young people struggling to find employment are welcome at our Dutch member RKC Waalwijk to gain work experience. Together, they form Team 12 and work on their personal development within the appealing working environment of RKC Waalwijk. Learning employee skills is central to this. The young people receive appropriate support and guidance from a work coach.
Wendy Smits, CSR manager of the ‘Samen RKC’ Foundation: ”As RKC Waalwijk and ‘Samen RKC’ we are of course very happy with the start of this great project at our club. Talent development is an important spearhead within our organisation and Team 12 fits in perfectly with that. Together with the participants, work coaches, and employees, we are looking forward to forming Team 12 together.”
About Team 12
Team 12 is a programme from Special Heroes Netherlands. The concept was developed at VVV-Venlo and will now find its way throughout the Netherlands. It is a development programme for young people aged between 18 and 27 who are distanced from the labour market. Team 12 offers young people a chance to discover their talents, be meaningful, meet new people and make choices for the future. Their personal development and voluntary commitment to others, makes our society stronger.
