Real Betis, through Forever Green, meets with Forest Green Rovers
Fundación Real Betis Balompié presented the Forever Green sustainability platform to one of the Forest Green Rovers academy teams.
Two of the most sustainable football clubs on the planet have held a meeting at the Benito Villamarín Stadium of réal Betis in Sevilla. One of the academy teams of Forest Green Rovers, an English club recognised worldwide for its commitment to the planet and considered by FIFA as the most sustainable in the world, visited the Real Betis facilities to carry out an activity together with the Green and Whites’ youth team and to learn first-hand about Real Betis’ commitment to the environment through its Forever Green project.
The stadium’s press room hosted this activity in which Rafael Muela, manager of the Real Betis Foundation, explained to the youth players and coaching staff of Forest Green Rovers the main initiatives of Forever Green, the environmental sustainability project that is turning Real Betis into one of the greenest teams on the planet along with the English team.
In addition, the English footballers told the club about their environmental initiatives so that they can serve as an inspiration to Real Betis, exchange experiences, and work together in the world of sport to save the planet from the climate crisis it is already experiencing.
