Real Betis and Istanbul Basaksehir promise to go ‘Forever Green’

Real Betis Balompié and Turkish Superlig team Istanbul Basasksehir have joined forces to promote climate action among their fans

Real Betis Balompié welcomes Turkish club Istanbul Basaksehir to their sustainability platform Forever Green. Both clubs will come together to promote the campaign ‘Promise to Go Forever Green’, a special action within Forever Green that both sides will run through their social media. Also, a special event will be hold in April.

Istanbul Basaksehir launched their own water-themed kits at the Bosporus at the beginning of the season, with the campaign ‘Promise’. The details in the kit highlight the emerging facts about water in the planet. With this collaboration, the campaign ‘Promise’ will be part of the platform Forever Green run by Real Betis Balompié and spread water-related messages in the Spanish community. Also, with this campaign, Real Betis will be the first LaLiga club to take a step in the emergency about the water crisis around the world.
In addition, both Clubs plan some educational sessions together about the climate act and aim to raise awareness among their fans and European wide.
