Christmas visit to Salk Children’s Hospital

Shortly before flying off for the Europa League match in Glasgow, the RB Salzburg team had a very special event on Wednesday, December 12th.

The players and support staff took the time to visit the Uniklinikum Salzburg hospital for a Christmas visit that delighted a few patients in the children’s ward.

Andreas Ulmer, Alexander Walke, Zlatko Junuzovic & Co visited children and youngsters in the Sonnenschein ward (children’s cancer ward), children’s and parents’ ward and the children’s neurorehabilitation section. The players brought presents along and posed for souvenir photos, while the children were also able to take a tour of the team bus along with the players.

Captain Andreas Ulmer said on a morning that was very special for the players too:

“I hope that we have been able to bring a bit of joy to the kids with our visit and provide some enjoyable moments.”
