Rangers organised Joy of Moving Festivals for 800 Kids
Over 800 young people in Glasgow enjoyed special celebration end of term events across the city thanks to the partnership of our network member Rangers Charity Foundation with the SPFL Trust and Joy of Moving UK.
Foundation coaches got involved in Langside Primary’s sports day at Toryglen, delivering fun games and activities, and were an integral part of Health Week at Broomhill Primary. At Burnside Primary, Rangers took part in the ‘Empty Classroom;’ day designed to get children outdoors to play and learn.
Working with local partners Govan Youth Information Project, Ranger took its Joy of Moving Festival to their multi-cultural event, delivering workshops and football to 160 young people from Ibrox Primary, Pirrie Primary, St Constantine’s and Riverside Primary. Over 1,800 children across the city have taken part in the Joy of Moving programme across the year.
