Rangers Launch Show Racism the Red Card Competition
Rangers FC Charity Foundation is running a competition related to its Show Racism the Red Card (SRtRC) programme open to all 16 and under teams that will close in three weeks’ time at noon on Friday 13 November. One lucky team who has participated will be selected at random to win the top prize, which includes a special coaching session from a Rangers Development coach. By joining RFC Charity in saying NO to racism, participating teams stand the chance to win a signed Rangers shirt and Stadium print, a coaching session with a Rangers Development coach and the chance to enjoy a tour of Ibrox Stadium.
The Rangers Charity Foundation is part of the European wide Show Racism the Red Card initiative with EFDN and are giving teams the chance to win the prize. They can participate by downloading SRtRC posters and information and sharing a picture of their teams holding them on social media. Teams should also follow and tag the Foundation using #DiversityWins in the posts.
RFC Foundation launched the initiative to coincide with the Rangers Show Racism The Red Card UK game last weekend, which sees the First Team show their support for the campaign, its ethos and objectives. The Foundation’s ongoing work with Show Racism The Red Card Europe, includes delivering Diversity and Inclusion workshops to over 400 kids in schools, and is an important part of its wider, award winning work in the field of Inclusion.
The Rangers jersey and print, signed by the First Team squad, are sure to make a fantastic addition to a team’s dressing room wall or help raise funds for your club, while the tour of Ibrox Stadium for the team is a fantastic outing for the squad.
