PSV Foundation and municipality Meierijstad extend cooperation

PSV Foundation and the municipality of Meierijstad have signed a renewed cooperation agreement. The extension of the cooperation ties both parties together until 2024. Alderman Van der Pas of the municipality of Meierijstad and PSV Foundation board member Peter Fossen are pleased with the agreement.

The renewed cooperation is focused on suitable sports. This means: sports for people with disabilities. At the Zuideinderpark sports facility, PSV Foundation will set to work on the development of inclusive sports. Some forms that will be started in the short term are blind football, amputation football, frame football and electric wheelchair football. In the coming months the municipality of Meierijstad is going to adapt to a suitable sports-friendly environment where everyone from the region can benefit from the new opportunities.

In recent years the municipality of Meierijstad and PSV Foundation already worked closely together in the field of walking sports. Thanks to the cooperation, the parties involved ensured that 150 residents from the region could exercise more.
