PSG For Communities again with the Solidarity Canteen
This weekend, 16th and 17th of March, PSG For Communities organized the seventh edition of the Solidarity Canteen at the Parc des Princes.
The event take place three times a year and is organised by the Paris Saint-Germain Endowment Fund, Cop1 – Solidarités Étudiantes and StudHelp. It aims to support students in precarious situations, offering hot meals and essential products in a warm setting.
Three main activities take place during these events, all of them leaving a great positive impact on the attendants:
- They offer free freshly and healthly cooked lunches for people in need
- Via a partnership, they are able to give away various typical supermarket goods ranging from food to more hygienic products, for free to those in need
- Also via a partner, they offer CV writing support, so that participants can have a better chance in finding employment
This year, something new marked the event: the holding of a careers forum in collaboration with the Régie Immobilière de la Ville de Paris (RIVP). This initiative, the result of a solid partnership, allowed participants to explore a multitude of fields of activity and meet inspiring professionals.
Our project manager Philipp Reissner was also welcomed at the big event in Paris, being shown all the different activities and initiatives, gaining useful and interesting new insights.
