Paris Saint-Germain makes a commitment to social, economic and environmental eco-responsibility

The Parc des Princes’ exclusive management corporation (La SESE), which is owned outright by Paris Saint-Germain, signed the eco-responsibility charter for major international sporting events (MISE).

In the presence of Laura Flessel, Minister of Sports, Isabelle Autissier, President of WWF France, and 30 MISE representatives, Executive Manager Jean-Claude Blanc signed the charter, which commits the Parisian club to fulfilling 15 specific obligations with regard to sustainable food choices, reducing waste, social commitment and offering a quality reception to disabled spectators.

The charter will be implemented at all events organised by Paris Saint-Germain Football in the Parc des Princes. In the 2017/2018 season alone, the Parc des Princes welcomed more than 1.1 million spectators over 25 first-team match days and around 30 non-sporting events (Paris Saint-Germain Foundation’s Children’s Day and Gala, “Striving for Excellence” seminar, Sportem and other corporate seminars).

Every year, on the anniversary of the date the charter was signed, an annual review of the actions put in place will be carried out. This will enable those who signed the charter to revise the objectives set and share any successes or problems encountered.
