PAOK’s Under-19 team meet and greet young refugees and their families
PAOK FC and PAOK Action paid a visit to Edessa to meet, greet and express their solidarity to a group of young refugees and their families who have fled their war-torn homes in the hope of having a better future elsewhere.
Members of PAOK’s Under-19 team paid a visit to the International Organization for Migration’s (IOM) facilities in the town of Edessa where they had the opportunity to bring some joy and happiness to both, the old and young members of the migrant community there.
The PAOK players met dozens of eager children and their families with whom they played football. The players brought gifts from the club, as well as some sweet treats from the club’s sponsor. It helped the players to experience a completely different kind of football to what they are used to.
