PAOK Advocates For Visually Impaired People
More and more people with disabilities want to travel and watch sports live. At PAOK’s Toumba Stadium during home matches, through the PAOK Action program, Equivalent Audio Description Commentary especially for visually impaired people with the ADeC)))livex system from EXEDRAMark.org is now available.
UEFA estimate that there are at least 500,000 fans with disabilities within the wider UEFA area who are active football spectators, i.e. watching live matches at stadiums. It is clear then, that with easy access and equal opportunities, this number will increase significantly.
The aim is to provide an accessible environment that enables people with disabilities to express their independence. PAOK aims to work for social justice, since it is about accepting people as individuals and providing equal and fair opportunities to everyone so they can participate fully in society.
