OL Fondation and L’Entreprise des Possibles aim to create a “resource centre”

OL Fondation, a founding member of L’Entreprise des Possibles in 2022, has made a 3-year commitment to help the homeless people. This collaboration translates into financial support and as well additional support for 2024, awarded to a “coup de cœur” project chosen by a selection committee.

L’Entreprise des Possibles is a group of 165 Lyon-based companies and their employees working alongside public bodies and associations to help the homeless and the most vulnerable people. Their aim is to mobilize human, financial and real-estate resources to amplify the action of associations in the field. The collective’s aim is to encourage the reintegration into society of people who no longer have a decent roof over their heads, or who, because of their extreme vulnerability, are at risk of becoming homeless.

Back in 2023, “Les Parages”, created by the Apprentis d’Auteuil, caught the attention of the jury. Through this project, the foundation was able to help young people in precarious situations by creating transitional housing to secure their path to professional integration.

Last Thursday, the 2024 project committee including Raymond Domenech and Guillaume Naslin, both OL Fondation directors, Marie-Laure Wiart, OL Human Resources Director, as well as representatives of the OL Fondation team and OL employees gathered to discuss further cooperation. Etienne Piquet-Gauthier, Managing Director of Entreprise des Possibles, presented various projects. Based on a number of criteria and following discussions, the selection committee decided to support “Plan A – Maison Rochet”.

This project, conceived by the Lyon-based association Alynea, aims to create a “resource centre” by renovating a house made available by the City of Lyon in the 8th arrondissement. This house, along with 14 studios nearby, will provide accommodation and support for 20 young people leaving the Aide Sociale à l’Enfance system. In addition to housing, the facility will also include a day care centre, offices for social and psychological support, a garden and a cultural project.
